As forgetful as Dory

               Yesterday I went to library to fix my essay for into to visual art class using one of the computer there.  At night, I realized that I forgot to take out my flash disk from the computer. I became panic and I kept asking myself, why could I forget important thing like this. Although it’s only look like white little thing but what inside this is really important for me. Luckily, today, when I went to school to take back, a kind mam had already kept my flash disk in her desk. I’m so thankful. and start now, I shouldn’t be careless!

Analogical

This what i did in class today. I learn similes, metaphors, and analogies. In my opinion, It's not easy, need time to think. As you can see, the yellow post it there, teacher asked all of us to write the similes of our dream boy/girl, it's my dream boy characteristic. Yes, i want a smart, kind, wise, sweet, religious, fun, and caring person. Although i know it's almost impossible, no body perfect in this world. 

lights of drum

Have you seen those unique lights on Night festival ?? Those things are not only lights, it connects with some drum. If someone beat a drum, a light will be on, every drum represent a light. it's really interesting right !! unfortunately, when i went there, it's so crowded. I could not try even one of them. But anyway, it's fine, although i can't try at least i've saw it !! hahhahahhaha

buildings

I found this random picture in my laptop today, i don't know why, i just like it ! I think it shows crowded but also simplicity. No matter how many buildings this world has, it's nothing compare to the sky ! I feel really small when i look to this photo, the sky is much more bigger than our land. What i get from this photo is never be arrogant ! Don't think that you're the best because there's always something more than you !!

Haze

     Everyone must know that Singapore has been affected by severe smoke haze due to forest fires in the region periodically. Actually, as an Indonesian student I really feel guilty and embarrass of my country. So sorry, that we often put Singapore and other countries to this situation. I hope the haze won't become worse and become fresh again. 

workshop

That day was my first workshop, photography. Honestly i am a little bit disappointed, i thought photography workshop will be very enjoyable, but in fact, i feel sleepy.. although James, the one who explained to us, is really nice and he was trying to make it more fun, workshop is still very boring. But, i think He explained to us very clear, and now i know a lot about photography's facility in Nafa. Thanks Mr. James !!

Logo

I made a logo for myself, i keep it simple, elegant, and long lasting. TL is my name's initial, Tiffany Lay. Why did i choose yellowish gold ? because yellow is bright colour,  it shows my motivation. I have a motto, if you want to give light to others, you have to glow yourself first. How can you brighten your community, if you don't start from yourself !! Let's talk less do more guys :)

The window of the world

                 I found this beautiful spot in Singapore Art Museum. A room without books is like a body without soul. When i went there, i saw three children wanted to read some of the books, they were really exciting!! I think it's a good example because in this modern world, most of the children prefer playing than reading. It also happens to me, i don't really like to read, i will get sleepy when i read more that 1 hour. From them, i am motivated to start reading everyday.

Ms. Bee

           Today, in my creative thinking class, we learnt lateral thinking. There's 5 important things that approach to lateral thinking; focus, challenge, projection, random input, and escape. I also got class exercise in pair, and i'm in group 2 with taufiq ( latemidnighthour.blogspot.com ). We need to find creative reason, why a bee flies into the room through the open window, straight to the painting and not the rose. I think we came out with so many creative ideas, but we thought we need to think realistically, so we didn't write our crazy ideas. But i think we are creative enough, one of my favourite ideas is because the bee's hive is on the painting frame. HAHAHAH

Snowy

A snowflake is one of God's most fragile creations, but look what they can do when they stick together !! create a very beautiful scenery, build a snowman, and so many more. I think snow represent human, we can't do many things if we are alone, but if we stay together and become a strong group, we can do everything beyond our imagination. remember, be nice to every one ! we can't survive in this tough world without support and help from others :)

ex ipluers

An awesome day with ex ipluers !! We are from the same school in Jakarta, Ipeka pluit. Now we meet up again in Singapore as the same member of GKY Singapore. I am glad to know and have them in my life. Without them, today won't be the same. Let me introduce them, from left side, Shareen, Attishya, and Nathania. To end up, i have a quote, Happiness is meeting an old friend after a long time and feeling that nothing has changed! :)

Spot

She's sabrina, my friend in Nafa.. Look at her! Standing beside her, make me feel really short.. Nvm, i'm not going to talk about her, i'm going to talk about the spot for taking photo. I think among all the spot in National Museum, here is the best place. Can you see the lightning, and the construction. actually, the lighting is good not only because the colour but also the mirror glass above us, that allow light from the sky get in into this place.

The Hype

            

     Last night i went to Singapore Night Festival, can you feel the hypee ? hahhaha.. i really like the lightning in front of peranakan museum! the color was amazing, could changee from blue to purple! not only that, Along armenian street, there's so many places to be visited.. Last but not least, inside peranakan museum, there's one of Nafa's artworkk! 

Goodluck in HKU !

          She's evelyn tjuatja, my best friend in senior high school. She is not only my best friend, she is a teacher, a sister, and a reminder for me. She is like an angel, my helping hand every time, no matter when and where. i forgot to mention that she got first rank in our class most of the time ! now, she wants to continue her study in Hong kong. I wish she can get the best score in her university and always be a blessing for everyone ! Last but not least, although we are studying in different countries, i hope our relations lasting forever! here's i made a face illustration for you! maybe it's not good enough to be the best artwork in the world, butt i think it's enough to show how special you are for me! 

Mind map

           Yesterday, silica ( seliciayt98.blogspot.com ) and I did this in the creative thinking class. at first, we don't think we couldn't  do it well as others because our group only has 2 members while others have 3. More people, of course, more idea. But in the end, I think we did quite a good job! We were given a picture of one of the most famous paintings called The Starry Night that is made by Vincent Van Gogh. A lot of questions came to our minds about this picture, some of them are, What is the yellow straight line in the sky? Why does the moon look like a sun? Is it mountain/ sea? Is that fire / a castle? etc. Our mind map is classified our observation to 6 subjects. The first one is blue mountain while the second one is bright houses which consist of the rusty roof,the most obvious and tallest church,the white star, yellowish orange moon, sunrise. The dark bluish night consists, big windy days, a mixed colour wind,overcast days, etc. yellowish sand as a dessert and tiny trees. Last but not least, we see nature disaster there! black fire, a castle on fire, smokes,the tsunami, and flood in the village. The first time I saw this, I only see it as a painting. Then I think everything in the painting must be drawn by an artist. Now, i wonder, what is the purpose of this painting ??

Sunset

             When i admire the wonders of a sunset, my soul expands in the worship of the creator.. sunset is my favorite color, we can see different gradiant color and it's really interesting for me. what do you feel when you see a sunrise/sunset ? Does it make you feel tiny or big ? if it's me, i feel really tiny because i seee the creator of this world is more than huge. 

Saticin

           They are my high school friends, San" and Cindy.. we formed a group chat named Saticin , which is stands for our names. Actually we have known each other since we were in junior high school, but we just became close since senior high school. Without them, I wouldn't know the real meaning of friendship. They still love me no matter what. Although now, we all are in the different country, Indonesia, Singapore, and Hong Kong, I believe in this thing. A strong friendship doesn't need daily conversation or being together, as long as the relationship lives in the heart, true friends never part.
