Creative thinking class review

         It's our last creative thinking class !! I feel really grateful to have him as our CT teacher. He teach us clearly, very straight to the point, and in interesting way. Don't like some teacher that is very complicated, he made everything so simple, that's what we're hoping for our next teacher. Besides that, among all the subject, i think creative thinking is the most funny class. Although we need to post  something to blog everyday, we don't need to be stress about our dateline as others subject. I also learnt so many things from creative thinking class, we need to think under and out of the box, to think as children, brainstorming, mind mapping, and to see, think, and wonder. I hope i can apply what i've learnt to my art in practice and also next term. 

Empathy ( week 10)

            Today, we study empathy in class and i do this little exercise in a group with Mai cin and Anastasia. We imagine ourselves as handphone. As it can be seen in the picture, we have 16 emotions for this phone. First, Wanted, precious, and special because of course a handphone is so important for everyone, even some people can't live without it. Powerful/ superior because a handphone can save all the data, can make us easier to communicate, have so many function that make people really need it. Connected, because phone connects with bluetooth, charger, earphones, etc. Wants to be left alone and angry because some people use it over and can you imagine what the phone feels? They need time alone without being in people's hand every time. Hurt and sad, yes obviously because they are being held in hands and also sometimes people don't really take care of their phone that makes it drop and even crack their glass. Dead, dizzy, sick, sleepy when people forget to charge them. Alive and refreshing when the phone just got charged. Anxious of water because of the electricity of course. Stressed for the reason that, they have a lot of application and data like music, phone contact, picture, etc. Disgusted because sometimes people hold their phone when their hands dirty, if you were the phone, you'll feel very uncomfortable right ? Protected when we give casing and screen protector to the phone. Well-groomed / taken care of when we use it softly, always put in the bag, etc. Intelligent of course because it has so many information, just open google from our phone, anything that you want to know can be found easily. Last but not least, Creeped out, disturbed, and insecure owing to the fact that people sometimes stalk others through social media. that's our last exercise in class!! i see a lot of emotions in the drawing, messy handwriting, most of all is achromatic scheme, 16 numbers, and a4 paper. I think everything has their own emotion, so be nice to everyone and all things. I wonder what if a phone can speak ?? will they scream and shout of their feelings ?? 

The end

             I see many high coconut trees, a strong stem, old trees, organised position of the trees, under those trees, and it's a view from bottom of the trees. I think coconut is very good to costume to supply vitamins for our body, the wind is so big that can make the leaves dancing, the coconut is very tiny compared to the stem, and it's going to rain. There're so many question pops to my mind !! I wonder if someone climb to the top of one of the trees, will the person survive and will the tree fall down? How long will it take to produce a coconut ? Why the stem is so high while the coconut is so tiny ? and why the stem's colour isn't brown ? Anyway, i choose this photo as my last photo in my blog because those dancing leaves represent goodbye, gesture of human that can be seen when the winds coming.             When the waves of life, crash down on you, pick yourself up, get ready for the next one, and ride it like you own it !! I like this quote so much hahahaha.. really inspiring and motivating for me. I see small wave in the sea, many tones of blue, beautiful sand, and a big blue line. I think this wave makes me feel peaceful, the sea is so clean, and the waves like chasing each others. I wonder if the sea isn’t blue, will it be as nice as this ?? and can people surf in that wave ? 

Old places have soul

             Jakarta Old Town, officially known as Kota Tua, is a neighborhood comprising the original downtown area of Jakarta , Indonesia. I took this photo when I went back to my hometown. I see an old building full of history, Indonesian flag, repetition of windows, and last, development of Jakarta, as it can be seen, there’s no littering. I think it’s a nice place to know more history of Indonesia (if you are interesting) and it’s a nice place to take a photo shoot too! so many people especially couple, take a pre wedding photo shoot here!! I wonder if 10 years later, will this building still looks nice and will people still come here as most of young generation don’t care about history anymore ??

Mirror

         Life is like a piano, what you get out of it depends on how you play it. I see my brother is playing a piano, his reflection, and a frame of my grandparents at the back. I think he plays the piano well, it's not flat, it's very full of rhythm. Besides that, I think I get the perfect angle that can shows his reflection well. I wonder if one day, he can have his own concert and be a professional pianist like David Foster. Not only that, i also wonder what if the piano only have white tiles?? can the piano still be played?? 

See you when i see you

           It’s our last intro to visual art class with BB class and Eleanor. They are so nice!! We had been together since the first week, now it’s week 10. Although I am not really close with all of them, I hope we can still be friends forever. From this photo, I see, good friends from different major, different countries, different ages, happy face, togetherness, blending, struggle together, it’s the ending. I think they are very friendly and funny, and obviously this photo capture and represent our moment together. I wonder, will we be in the same class together in the next term? Will we get closer after this or just change as a stranger ??
